June 14th is Flag DayFly your flag with pride and honor and remember all the men and women that gave of themselves and those currently serving our country so that we are able to display our flag in a free country.

Happy Father’s Day!

The Spaghetti Dinner New Building Fundraiser – held on May 22nd was a huge success!

We are eternally grateful to the Faith Reformed Church of Hazlet for all their planning and hard work in conducting this fundraiser and to ALL that attended the benefit. The dinner and service was excellent and you could not beat the price. We also want to publicly say Thank You to the following companies for their generous donations toward this event:

Arizona Ice Tea – donated 40 gallons of assorted iced teas

Pepsi – donated canned soda and iced teas

Rienzi – donated 100 pounds of Ziti

KMFP benefits from Postal Food Drive – Hazlet Post Office held their annual food drive in May and we were very fortunate to have benefited from their drive. A special Thank You to all the postal employees and to all the residents that contributed goods.

Summer Volunteers – School will be out soon and some parents might be seeking things for their children to do during the summer, so how about allowing them to volunteer at the pantry? In the past we have had young volunteers who have been able to see first hand and learn what hunger is all about. Not only did they help us but they also served the community, in some cases their own. Young volunteers must be 15 years of age or older and can only volunteer with parental consent if under the age of 18. Please note that some lifting might be required and a Parental consent form must be completed and submitted to KMFP before a child is allowed to perform volunteer work. Interested parents can contact us during our hours of operation.

New Building Project donations continue to come in. We are so grateful for all the donations we have received thus far. Please continue to spread the word YOU are our voice!

The KMFP Website – is one of the tools we use to keep the public informed on the latest happenings at the pantry and we hope that we are meeting this goal. But if you have any questions and/or comments that are not being addressed on our website feel free to contact us.

The KMFP Staff and Volunteers are forever grateful for your support and all your donations.
