The Fall season is a time of year when the greenery around us starts displaying their beautiful colors. Take a little time and enjoy one of Mother Nature’s great wonders.
Children are back in school so please remember to drive carefully. We are still accepting school supply donations to help our clients who have school aged children. If you require additional information or wish to donate feel free to contact Associate Director Marge Conway during our hours of operation.

This year during the months of July and August we were fortunate to have seven (7) school aged Summer Volunteers that helped us with the pantry operation and our monthly Foodbank deliveries. Between all of them they volunteered sixty-one (61) hours. We are sure their parents are very proud of them and they should be. It is refreshing to see young people caring about others who are less fortunate. These youngsters were able to experience first hand the struggles that so many of our clients face day in and day out to make ends meet in these times of economical turmoil.

To thank them for volunteering some of their summer vacation we had a little get-together for them at the American Legion Raritan Post 23 in Keyport. Post 23 allowed us to use their outside deck. We had pizzas and refreshments and presented each of them with a certificate of appreciation for their community service to our organization.

Three of our summer volunteers were not able to attend the get-together but we want to recognize them as well. Thank you to Ryan, Patrick and Ryan. We wish all of them a great school year and hope to see them again next summer.
Our latest status:
- Thank you to the American Legion Raritan Post 23 in Keyport for allowing us to use their outside deck for our Summer Volunteer get-together on August 13th.
- Thank you to Grace and Calvary UMC for their ongoing food donations.
- Thank you to the Keyport Garden Club for their weekly donations of fresh produce. Our clients are truly enjoying these nutritional and fresh items.
- We continue to receive donations toward our New Building Fund. Please help us spread the word of what we are trying so hard to accomplish so that the families we serve can look forward to a better tomorrow.
- We continue our research on Federal, State and Local grants that are available and submit applications whenever we meet the criteria.
We are all very proud of what we do to help the communities we serve and invite you to visit us during our hours of operation. Meet our volunteers and see for yourself what we are all about. We might be considered by some as a small organization but we operate BIG. Remember – A picture is worth a thousand words!

Your continued support and donations are deeply appreciated. We would not be able to serve the number of clients that we do if it were not for the outside assistance we receive from so many. There are no words that will ever be able to express our gratitude so the best we can say is “Thank You” to all the churches, organizations and individuals on behalf of the clients we serve and from all of us at the KMFP.
