Flag Day, Happy Father’s Day and Happy Summer!

Before proceeding with my monthly message I would like to start off by wishing one of our volunteers Mr. Ben Defibaugh a speedy recovery.  Ben is a very hard worker and we all miss him deeply.  All of us at the KMFP wish him well.

Remember to fly your flag with pride and honor on June 14th.  Also remember to keep in mind all the men and women that served and those that are currently serving so that we can fly the great Red, White and Blue freely in this great country.

Father’s Day –  It takes a very special man to be a father so on this day tell your Dad how much you appreciate everything he does for you and the rest of the family.  A very Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads from the KMFP Staff and Volunteers.

First Day of Summer – June 21st.  Children are out of school so remember to drive carefully.  If you would like your child to learn more about our organization and serve the surrounding communities how about letting them volunteer during their summer vacation.  The child must be over the age of 13 and the parent(s) must meet with us prior to the child volunteering.  For more information please contact us during our hours of operation.

Our 50/50 Raffle will soon be going off.  Make sure you revisit our website where we will be announcing the lucky winner on June 5th.  The KMFP would like to send a “Big Thank” to all who supported and helped us make our first 50/50 raffle a success.  Good Luck!
Our latest status:
  1. We are busy working on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application.
  2. Our talks continue with the Board of Education and Habitat for Humanity regarding new building.
  3. We continue to research grant opportunities.
  4. New building donations continue to come in.

If you have any questions, comments, etc. please feel free to contact us via email or call us.  The KMFP Staff and Volunteers are forever grateful for your support and all your donations.
