Happy Easter!

It's Easter time...a time for green grass, new life, sunshine, flowers, and new beginnings.  Hope this season brings all of this and more!

We have two (2) major projects currently going on:
  • The Allan Shawn Feinstein Hunger Challenge.  The challenge runs from March 1st to April 30th.  We have one more month therefore your food or monetary donations toward this challenge are truly appreciated.  To get full details on the Allan Shawn Feinstein Foundation Challenge visit their website http://www.feinsteinfoundation.org/
  • 50/50 Raffle.  We have approximately two (2) more months to go before the big winner is drawn on June 5th, 2007.  Tickets are still available.
The response we have received thus far for these two projects has been fantastic! Thank You to all who are helping us make these projects a huge success.

Our latest status:
  1. Thank you to the Keyport Kiwanis Club who came to our rescue with a financial donation when our freezer went out.
  2. Thank you to Matt McGrath who published an article about us in the Courier on March 22nd, 2007.  (See News Page)
  3. We are currently working on the 2007-08 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application and continue to research other grant opportunities.
  4. We plan on participating in the Keyport Pride Day scheduled for Saturday, April 14th.
  5. We continue our discussions for our new building with Habitat for Humanity (see picture below) and the Keyport Board of Education.

As you can see we have a lot of things going on. We hope that we are keeping you informed of all our latest happenings but remember that if you have any specific questions, comments, etc. you can always contact us via email or call us.  The KMFP Staff and Volunteers thank you for your everlasting friendship and support.
