MISSION

The Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer community service organization providing food assistance and additional services for low-income families and Senior Citizens requiring ongoing or temporary assistance in the Northern Bayshore area of Monmouth County.

PURPOSE

For many individuals our organization is sometimes their last resort. Recent years have taken a toll on many families and Senior Citizens due to the economic situation in our country, health reasons and other circumstances. The number of lay-offs, cost for food and other items continues to rise making it difficult to make ends meet…

WHO WE ARE

The Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry (KMFP) Inc. was founded in 1983 to provide food to needy families in the Northern Bayshore Area of Monmouth County. The founder of the pantry, O.O. John Reed, saw a need within the communities and started providing the services to a small group of families…

Public Notice:

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry will be applying for a Community Development Block Grant for the purpose of installing Solar Panels on our facility to reduce our cost of electricity. This project will contribute to the objectives of the Monmouth County Master Plan, Chapter 7: Utilities Element and Chapter 13: Sustainable Places Element. https://www.co.monmouth.nj.us/page.aspx?ID=4197

Neighbors 
Helping Neighbors Pathway

Your contribution to the “Neighbors Helping Neighbors Pathway” will support the food pantry to help alleviate food insecurity of our neighbors. You can help support the Food Pantry programs with a donation of $100 to buy a personalized brick in our “Neighbors Helping Neighbors Pathway”. The bricks will be the entry path on which all those we serve will enter the pantry. You will be able to compose the inscription of your choice on the brick, which will become a permanent part of the Food Pantry history.
